Barry Siskind, President of International Training and Management is one of North America¡¯s most sought after consultants and speakers and an internationally recognized trade and consumer show expert.
Over the past twenty-eight years he has traveled throughout the world working with thousands of clients in virtually all industry groups both in the private and public sectors helping them improve their results at trade and consumer shows.
Each year, Barry delivers over 100 keynotes, workshops and seminars around the world. In the past year Barry has traveled across Canada several times from St John¡¯s NL to Vancouver, BC, in the United States from Philadelphia to Las Vegas as well as Sao Paulo, Brazil, Bogota, Columbia, Lisbon, Portugal, Bangkok, Thailand, Quito, Ecuador, Zagreb, Croatia and Beirut, Lebanon.

Barry is an active member of the Canadian Association of Exposition Management where he worked closely with the Canadian Event Audit Advisory Council, Centre for Exhibition Industry Research and Trade Show Exhibitors Association(TSEA). His company has launched a TSEA regional chapter in Toronto. Barry sits on the TS2 Advisory Committee. Also, Barry sits on the Board of Directors of The Center for Exhibitor and Event Marketing (ICEEM).
As a business author, Barry Siskind has written seven best-selling books including his most recent, Grabbing Success by the Horns and Powerful Exhibit Marketing. He has also written over 500 original trade articles and industry reports as well as a Guru series for the Centre for Exhibition Industry Research. Barry¡¯s syndicated column appears in 30 publications worldwide.
He is certificated at the practitioners level from the Neuro-linguistic Institute
Barry is the Community Manager of UFI Live, a blog for the global exhibit association, UFI.
In 2006 Barry was the recipient of Canadian Exposition Industry Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of 20 years of outstanding achievements in furthering the professionalism of the Canadian Exposition industry.

Raul Calleja obtained Business Degree in Marketing and Management and Master in Marketing and Communication, IDE-CESEM(Instituto de Directivos de Empreso).
He'd worked for five years in the English pharmaceutical group 'The Boots Company' in Spain, as a Product Manager for OTC(over the counter) and skincare references, winning the recognized award the 'Best Pharmaceutical Spanish Marketing Campaign' in 2003.
He's been working in IFEMA(spanish leading trade fair organizer) since 2004. He started for 4 years as Commercial Director of FITUR(international tourism trade fair, positioned 3rd on the worldwide ranking) and for one year and a half in the Business Development Department.

Bjoern Kempe (PhD/MBA) has more than 13 years professional experience in organizing international trade shows and conferences. He has graduated from Fudan University/Central State University of New York and published his thesis about international negotiation. In his major subject¡¯s international marketing & human resources management as well as through his long work in the exhibition industry he can be called an expert in this field in Asia. Mr Kempe has published 3 books that are available online.
He was working for 5 years Cologne Trade Fair in Hong Kong upon moving forward to Munich Trade Fair International in Germany and was promoted to be the Director for International Sales & Marketing at UBM Sinoexpo in Shanghai in 2008. Since 2010 he is the General Manager of Comexposium in Shanghai and leads a team of marketing & trade show experts to expand Comexposium¡¯s business in Asia. Comexposium is the largest exhibition organizer in France and attracts more than 2 million visitors and more than 20,000 exhibitors every year. Mr Kempe also overlooks the largest international Food & Beverage exhibition in China - SIAL CHINA which will be held in Shanghai from May 9-11, 2012 for the 13thedition. |

Ms. Cathy Breden

Cathy Breden, CAE,CMP,is the Executive Director of the Center for Exhibition Industry Research(CEIR). In her role at CEIR, Breden manages the day-to-day activities and business operations of the Center for Exhibition Industry Research, including working with the Research Committee to identify topics for study that validate the exhibition industry as a marketing medium.
She began her association management career in 1984 and has served as a member of several boards of directors, as key staff contact, chief staff executive, volunteer leader, and consultant. Breden earned the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation in 1990, and earned the coveted ¡°Certified Association Executive¡± (CAE)designationin1995.
Breden attributes her success in the association management industry to being customer-centric. She adapted what Howard Schults of Starbucks has said to this: 'We are not in the exhibition business; we are in the people business serving exhibitions.'
Breden also serves as chief operating officer of the International Association of Exhibitions and Events. Breden is an active member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), and the Society for Human Resource Management. She serves on the Convention Industry Council¡¯s (CIC) Certified Meeting Professional as vice chair. Breden was recognized by DFWAE in 2005 with their Excellence Award. She wrote the Marketing, Promotion, Publicity Chapter of The Convention Industry Council Manual, 7thEdition, A Working Guide for Effective Meetings & Conventions. |

Dr. Nat K. H. Wong

Nat possesses 30 years of rich experience in global sales, marketing and top level management. Currently serving as the President of Agility Fairs & Events, a global specialty division of Agility Logistics, he is involved in the logistics of exhibitions, conferences, projects and special events. Prior to this appointment, he held senior management positions at Times Conferences & Exhibitions , Singapore Exhibition Services, Meeting Planners International and Trans-Link Exhibition Forwarding Group which was acquired by PWC Logistics/Agility Logistics in 2005.
In his 25 years in the exhibition and conference businesses, Nat has organized hundreds of events spanning industry sectors like entertainment, food, environment, transportation, communications, textile, oil & gas and IT.
In his 8 year at MPI, Nat transformed a small entertainment event company to one that is profitable and owns title to events. He has been successful in initiating the ITMA ASIA series of exhibitions. The 2001 milestone event was highly profitable and was the largest single-theme exhibition in Singapore generating more than S$280million into the economy based on the Government¡¯s official spin-off multiplier of 12.
Since joining Trans-Link in 2004, Nat was instrumental in adding marketing extensions to the group¡¯s global network clinching several global key accounts. After the acquisition by Agility Logistics, he took over the global responsibility for Agility Fairs & Events in 2007, integrating several acquisitions into one specialty division for Agility. He now looks forward to consolidating Agility Fairs & Events¡¯ position as a champion in the world of exhibitions and events logistics.
Nat served on many Government, Industry Committees, Associations including TDB¡¯s Industry Task Force in 1998 to present a paper to Government on transforming Singapore into an ¡®International Exhibition City¡¯. Nat is also a trainer in the SACEOS Professional Exhibition Management(PEM) and Certified Exposition Manager(CEM) courses.
Nat was featured in International Enterprise Singapore¡¯s prestigious ¡®Industry Hall of Fame¡¯. Also he was instrumental in the successful inauguration of the first International Design Forum in 1988 with Trade Development Board(TDB). This event was opened by the President of Singapore and received special messages from Margaret Thatcher and Lee Kuan Yew.
He attended National Junior College before going on to earn a Diploma in Sales & Marketing from the Marketing Institute of Singapore, winning the Cerebos Asia Silver Medal, and Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) UK. He is now an accredited and registered Chartered Marketer with the CIM.
In January 2002, Honolulu University conferred Nat with an Honorary Doctorate of Philosophy in Business Administration. On 30th July 2004, Nat was conferred a Fellow of the CIM(FCIM). |

Mr. Steve Monnington

Steve Monnington has been involved in the exhibition sector for 22 years. He first joined the Blenheim Group and, as Director of International Development, handled all of the acquisitions that took Blenheim from a small UK company to the world¡¯s largest exhibition organizer.
When Blenheim sold to United News and Media in 1996 for ¡Ì593m, Steve set up his own company - Mayfield Media Strategies (MMS) - providing M&A broking services and strategic business development consultancy to exhibition organizers.
MMS is 15 years old and has grown to become the largest specialist M&A brokers for the exhibition industry. MMS operates worldwide and sells businesses in UK, Mainland Europe, Middle East, Turkey, Australia and New Zealand. Over the last 3 years MMS has advised on more exhibition company transactions than all the other brokers put together.
MMS is increasingly working with entrepreneurs in emerging markets who want to sell a stake in their business to an international organizer. A good example of this is Turkey where MMS has concluded 7 transactions (5 in the last couple of years) and have introduced 5 international organisers into the market.
Steve has spoken at many exhibition industry conferences and writes a regular M&A news column for Exhibition News and Exhibition World magazines and for Meetings Review online portal. He has also written several features for Exhibition News, Exhibition World and Expowisie (Holland).
