Mr. Mark Cochrane
Regional Manager of UFI Asia/Pacific Office (Hongkong, China)

Mark Cochrane is the UFI Regional Manager, Asia Pacific. He is also the Managing Director of Business Strategies Group(BSG), a business intelligence and strategy consulting firm focused on the B2B media industry in Asia - with a particular emphasis on exhibitions and events in Asia. Through its consulting practice and its relationship with UFI, BSG works with major exhibition organizers, venues and governments across Asia.

Mark has been based in Hong Kong for 18 years and joined BSG in 2006. Prior to BSG, Mark worked in a variety of roles primarily focused on B2B media and market research including three years at Global Sources in marketing roles and three years at The Gartner Group as a senior research analyst. Mark earned an MBA from Thunderbird, the American Graduate School of International Management, 1n 1997.

Mark is on the board of the Business Information Industry Association and presents regularly on the exhibition industry at various conferences and events in Asia.)

Mr. Jeehyun Kim
Senior Vice President, Marketing Business Dept. of SK Planet (Korea)

Jeehyun Kim has been working in the IT industry for the past 20 years. He has written 49 books on IT and industry paradigms, and has delivered lectures on various topics.

Currently, Kim is serving as the Senior Vice President in Marketing Business at SK Planet. He has been involved in the launch of new projects, such as web and app service planning at Daum Communications in the past, as well as commerce and online–to–off-line(O2O) business strategy at SK Planet.

In the process of launching these new projects, Kim attended various domestic and international exhibitions, and met with industry representatives who have been paving the way for innovation through new products, technologies, and start-ups. At the same time, he has also taught mobile business as a professor at the Graduate School of Information and Media Management of KAIST.

His main books include Provice, which has Digital Transformation as the theme; Post-Smartphone: The Breakdown of Boundaries, which deals with the mobile paradigm; and The Smart Work Special Task Force, which talks about smart time management.

Mr. Brian Moon
Vice President, International Sales of Consumer Technology Association (USA)

Brian Moon is the Vice President of International Sales for the Consumer Technology Association(CTA), the host of the Consumer Electronics Show(CES). He oversees the sales and business development of CES and CES Asia.

He worked as the Senior Sales Coordinator and National Accounts Manager for the Consumer Electronics Association(CEA) from 2003 to 2009.

In 2009, he served as the Vice President of Sales and Senior Director of Sales for the National Restaurant Association for about six years and successfully led the annual National Restaurant Association Restaurant, Hotel–Motel Show(NRA Show).

In 2014, he returned to CTA and became responsible for overseeing the day-to-day sales and business development for CES and CES Asia events.

Mr. Peter Fulcher-Meredith
Director, Communication & Strategy of FreemanXP (Singapore)

Peter’s years spent designing and crafting experiences, together with the team of creative strategists he leads, helps clients grow and strengthens their relationships with their customers, by connecting with them on a deeper level.

Peter works in collaborative partnership with his clients, operating as an extension of the client’s marketing team, providing added value, strategic thought leadership.

He is passionate about co-creating brand stories with his clients using a myriad of communication platforms. Digital, online, tactical and experiential, he curates the most effective communication solutions for each client’s unique requirements. Insatiably curious, Peter believes in the power of questions. Asking the right questions leads to better creative solutions, which in turn help craft more compelling stories to influence a change in the way key audiences think, feel and behave.

Peter produced events and theatre for over 35 years, observing audience reactions from his front row seat. This experience strengthened Peter’s resolve to help clients tell better stories to help accelerate their business.

Mr. Richard Ireland
Managing Director of Clarion Events Asia (Singapore)

A Master’s graduate from the University of Sydney, Richard Ireland has been involved in 'live events’ for the past 20 years. He has launched numerous exhibitions, conferences, training events and digital communities over a broad range of industries throughout Asia Pacific.

Richard is currently the Managing Director of Clarion Events Asia and his role is to expand Clarion’s footprint in the region via organic growth, launch and via acquisition. He was previously the CEO of Terrapinn Asia Pacific.

Richard has regularly trained both exhibition and conference management to industry and has served as the Vice President of the Singapore Association of Convention Organisers and Suppliers. Richard has consulted to a number of business media companies in Asia Pacific focusing on strategy and performance improvement.

Richard has pitched, won and managed joint venture partnerships with some of the region’s and world’s largest trade associations and governments and have been involved with various m&a transactions

Mr. James Kim
Deputy General Manager, Start-up Support Center of Hyundai Card (Korea)

James Kim is Deputy General Manager of Start-up Support Center at Hyundai Card in Korea. He is currently engaged in the corporate social responsibility of Hyundai Card.

Hyundai Card's corporate social responsibility(CSR) programs focus on contributing to the improvement of the society by using our talents and capability.

The ultimate goal of our CSR is to present a sustainable CSR model instead of a on-off event to make sure people who benefit from it can stand on their own feet.

The Start-Up Support Center of Hyundai Card is responsible for various CSR activities. Major social contribution activities include the Dream Realization Project, which helps small business owners to stand on their own; as well as the “Bongpyeongchang“ in Gangwon-do and the “1913 Songjeong Station Market“ in Gwangju, which are revitalization projects for traditional markets. In addition, it also operates the CEO PLAN Program, which provides support to retired employees in starting their own businesses.

Dr. Kyoung Jun Lee
Professor of Management at Kyung Hee University (Korea)

He is currently the president of Intelligent information System Society and the Director of the international Center for Electronic Commerce and Humanitas Big Date Research Center.

He found Benple Inc., the Button Internet company, and Allwin., a patented group auction company, and serves as the CEO of Benple and as an executive officer of Allwin.Bib.

He graduated with a B.S (1990), M.S (1992), and Ph.D. (1995) in Management Science from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). He also completed a M.S. and Ph.D. course in Public Administration at Seoul National University in 2003. He won the Innovative Applications of Artificial Intelligence Awards in 1995 and 1997 from the Association for Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI), and served as a visiting scientist and professor at Carnegie Mellon University(1995-1996), the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2009), and University of California at Berkeley (2010).
